Oh my Goodness, week 9 is already here and I'm late posting my week 8 project. I've had it done since the beginning of week 8, but had a cleaning spell on some nice days and didn't get around to posting. I have week 9 done but I will post that later. So week 8 is multiples. I made a lovely various blue glass bead multi-strand necklace with a lovely copper clasp for this challenge.

Year of Jewelry-Week 7

So far I've been able to keep up with the challenge, but it has been only 7 weeks into it. This weeks theme is "Off the Cuff". I haven't delve into the world of metal, so making a metal cuff was not an option. I decided to try wire into the shape of a cuff and here is my results "Wired Pink". It's made of ribbon wrapped wire shaped into a cuff then wire wrapped glass beads to hold it's shape. I'm thrilled with the results.

I really like this challenge. It has stretched my abilities like no other challenge so far. To see what everyone one else made this week just click on this link Week 7

Passion & Love: Artisan Whimsy's Bead Lover's Vallentines Challenge

This was one of my challenges for a year of jewelry. I love how this necklace "Embrace My Heart" came out so I have entered it into Artisan Whimsy Bead-Lovers-Valentines-Challenge: PASSION & LOVE .  I wire wrapped glass cubes around a wire heart then added a key with a pretty ribbon
bow and strung on a pink rubber cord.

I have entered the bead lover's Valentines Challenge. Best Representation of PASSION and LOVE. My entry is #10. Please vote for me if you think my necklace is the best representation. Thank you. Voting is Feb12-13 at midnight.

Year of Jewelry- Week 5

Week 5 was Déjà Vu, have I seen this before? I took a bracelet that I had made with a bead exchange challenge a couple of years ago and had stuck back in a draw and forgot I had it.  It was just perfect for this week.  I reworked it into a pair of fun earrings and matching bracelet. "Festive Redo"
