Bead Soup Blog Party Challenge

I received my package yesterday from Allison. I am so excited to get started.

I got a lovely red coral chunk focal & accent beads,
gemstones (looks like quartz),
turquoise colored shell chips,
black glass beads,
antiqued silver plated spacer bead & clasp

She also sent me a little bonus pack of black and red Indian glass mix (although she said I didn't have to use those). They were all wrapped up in a cute little flowered hanky and a little plastic case to put it all in :). Thanks Allison!!

I decided, that I should put aside my fear of learning to bead a cabochon.....
Simple enough, yes? So I thought until I went looking for my seed beads.

Soon I'll get to find out who I'll be partnered with in the 4th bead soup blog party. There are 363 participants this time. I was amazed at the number of participants there are. This will be my first, can you tell I'm excited. I love to get new beads, all the better when the inspiration comes from a fellow bead artist. I'll get a focal, a clasp and some accent beads. I can't wait.
