Bead Soup Blog Hop #5

My beautiful bead soup came from Jennifer Borek of Kanna Glass Studios. Be sure to stop by her blog and see her beautiful creations.
I added some grey and silver seed beads to the seed bead mixture she sent me so that I could blend the focal and clasp that she handmade, in with the copper chain and hammered washers.
The lampwork is just gorgeous, and I have never seen anything like the flowers.
My plan was to make earrings as well, using the earwires she made, but I just was not feeling well to finish those.
This is completely different from anything I've made before and I thank Jennifer for the challenge.

Now that you have seen what I've created, please have fun visiting my fellow participants.

  3. Wow, wow, wow! Cynthia! That is absolutely stunning! I'm totally amazed with how you took my quirky soup and turned it into that elegant creation. I didn't know I would have so much fun with the BSBP, but I was like a little kid waiting to go to Disney the next morning...I couldn't sleep waiting to see what people did. When I woke up early and saw your necklace...I was speechless. I would totally wear a necklace like that.

  16. My goodness, Cynthia - you knocked this challenge out of the park! I absolutely love the necklace you made from Jenn's soup ingredients. I sometimes struggle with putting the bright greens and yellows together in my own designs, but you took those colors and incorporated the earth-toned beads and copper for a grounded design that can be worn year-round. Beautiful!
