Week 19 of A Year in Jewelry Project. This week its My Favorite Flower.

 I really don't have a favorite flower, I love them all. This bracelet is made of glass roses and polymer clay periwinkles. A lovely touch for this Spring.

A Year of Jewelry-week 4

This week the theme was "Not from the mall". This week I made a three strand bracelet. This one is made jasper and peridot with bone spacers. The clasp is a copper hook style. This is my first multi-strand bracelet. "Crossing Bridges"

A Year in Jewelry Project- Week 1 and 2

This year I have decided to challenge myself by joining a year of jewelry project. One piece of jewelry for 52 weeks. We are now in week 2 only 50 more pieces of jewelry to come up with.

My first week is a bracelet made of Swarovski crystals and fire polished crystals in a right angle weave (RAW)

For week 2, I made a necklace with piece of shell that I have had for years. I am still learning how to wire wrap but I like how it turned out.

Pretty Punk Princess

 Some of my best creativity comes when it is for someone in particular. My son wanted to give a set for a gift.  The request he gave me was pink, black, neon and punk. I love how this bracelet came out. The gun metal chain gave it an elegant statement. It's made with glass chips and hot pink Druk beads.

"Water Garden" bracelet

This is a bracelet I just finished. It reminds me of a water garden I once saw. It's made with quartz, shell, riverstone, glass, hemalyke, and silvertone flowers and butterflies. Clasp is "button style" setting with a lampwork bead.

Bracelet Green

I had a new color challenge in my beading daily group. This time the colors were brown, blue and green. I came up with this bracelet. I just love this group. It has definitely inspired me to explore new possibilities.

I made this bracelet with a right angle weave stitch. It's become one of my favorite stitches. This bracelet is called "Garden Path". It reminds me of neat little rows of flowers that one might find in their garden.

This is a bracelet I made for a color challenge in a beading group I belong to. The beading group is Beading Daily. An awesome group for those of us who need to bead. One of the color groups was green, orange and hot pink. I came up with this. I'm not sure this is a combination I would have chose on my own. That's why I like this group.
